Frequently Asked Questions
How to Decide What Size of Bedroll You Need:
15’x6’ vs. 18’x6’ — The Big Bedroll Decision
Our two most popular sizes are the 15'x6' and 18'x6'. The only difference between them is that the 18'x6' gives you extra canvas at the head end, which works perfectly as a storm flap or ground cover for your gear.
Both sizes will comfortably hold:
• A twin-size mattress
• A 4” pad
• Sheets, pillow, quilts
• A wool blanket (or two)
Which size should you get?
• 15'x6' — Great for dry weather, bunkhouses, teepees, and general everyday use.
• 18'x6' — Best if you’re sleeping on the ground, or camping in colder, wetter climates where that extra coverage really earns its keep.
Need more width?
Choose the 7-foot-wide canvas (15'x7' or 18'x7') if you want to:
• Roll up a 6” thick mattress
• Add extra blankets
• Need a little more wiggle room
